A beautiful river journey of approximately 2.5 hours. Perfect for guests arriving from or departing to Kasane.
Muchenje River Lodge ↔ Shamwari Houseboat
A shorter, equally scenic transfer of approximately 1.5 hours. Ideal for guests combining a lodge stay with a houseboat experience.

Our cosy, open plan, self catering cabins (approx. 36sqm) have been designed to enhance the views of our beautiful bush veld surroundings.
Each cabin has 2 single size beds with an option to add an additional single bed if needed.
For your comfort and convenience each has a fully equipped kitchenette, 2 plate gas stove, mini fridge, kettle, fireplace, and lovely wooden deck with table & chairs looking out onto the incredible views provided by the Zambezi River.
The geyser in these cabins are gas. The cabins are serviced daily.
The luxury cabins are situated on the edge of the river bank.
The four (4) luxury cabins are identical in size, differing only slightly in layout and design. We're sure you'll enjoy your stay!
